We finish preparation, departure in a week!

Dear friends, our departure time is close and there is only a week left for final preparation of material and our mental and physical force. We are all well prepared in skiing and climbing area, fit, healthy and looking forward to the adventure. It’s nice to have a possibility to prolong the winter season in the high altitude areas of Tian Shan. We received the information about our border permits that are already issued and we can pick them up in Bishkek.

We met 2 weeks ago for a preparation & meeting day in the High Tatra. At this occasion we used the day for a climb to the Slavkosky peak to test our new Elan Skis and strengthen the team spirit. There are only few pics from this day due to bad weather during the descent.

In the last days we collected all the cloth and equipment apart the Millet down jackets that should arrive in the next days and Kayland shoes that should be here also in time. The Trek’N Eat dried food is already here so there is no danger of starving during the expedition.

On May 8th we depart from Prague. There is one more task waiting for us – packing of all material within the weight limits. We’ll inform you soon about how we hade during the transfer to Bishkek. Stay tuned...
